The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring celestial beings, demons, and dark forces growing in strength within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The third episode concluded with a dramatic pause and presented the first table of heroes who will branch out from the primary party to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the outset that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might seem mismatched, but the actions of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—exploited the enemy for his own means, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.

The antagonist then paid off his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, wants retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and cautions that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could assist the party reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are sought by the authorities that control the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them few options but to journey toward the remote area in quest for the traitor.

Future Episodes

Based on the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the rest of the cast members to form the Questers and Schemers tables.

Fans can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
